Happiness is growing


The Economist writes this week about happiness being one of the more surprising growth industries of the current time.

It details the increasing activity around the world’s economic leading lights measuring what happiness is in order to work out how to increase it and move towards a new measure for guiding national policy, rather than gross national product (GNP).

With the publication of the first World Happiness Report out of the United Nations, there’s a lot of reporting going on from the economic movers of the world on this increasingly relevant topic of Happiness..
